A national workshop on Enhanced Transparency Framework Roadmap for Bangladesh was held on 04 January 2023 at the Auditorium of the Department of Environment, Agargaon, Dhaka. The workshop was organized under the project titled Strengthening Capacity for Monitoring Environmental Emissions under the Paris Agreement in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh benefitted from the CBIT Phase I project in terms of capacity building for all stakeholders, strengthening current institutional networks, robust data management, and properly establishing a QA/QC process. The country is currently advancing swiftly in its efforts to execute the Enhanced Transparency Framework and develop its Biennial Transparency Report roadmap tool in anticipation of producing its first Biennial Transparency Report by the end of 2024. The major objective of this virtual exchange is to share the benefits and outcomes of the CBIT Phase I project in Bangladesh with other members of the Regional Transparency Network of the Asia Region.
